<div dir="ltr"><div><div>The Steering Committee <span class="">Elections</span> will be held at the <span class="">TriLUG</span> May meeting.<br>
<br>
Nominations are now open - you may nominate yourself or another<br></div><div>member of TriLUG by posting to the TriLUG general mailing list. The<br></div><div>Steering Committee is made up of five volunteers just like yourself,<br></div><div>and this time next month, one of them could be YOU. The nominees<br></div><div>will introduce themselves and their platform at the May meeting, and<br></div><div>we'll vote before the main talk begins.<br></div><div>
<br>
To vote or serve on the committee, you will need to be a <span class="">TriLUG</span><br>
"member". If you filled out a membership form at the April meeting or<br>
before, you're covered. Bring your membership card if you have it, but<br></div><div>don't worry if you don't - we can look you up in the database. Voting<br>will be performed by paper ballot during the May meeting, and you must<br>be present to vote.<br>
<br></div>Serving on the Steering Committee is a great way for TriLUG members<br></div><div>to get more involved in the local tech community. If this interests you,<br></div><div>but you want more information about the responsibilities before you<br></div><div>make a commitment, please feel free to reach out to the current Steering<br></div><div>Committee and we'll be more than happy to discuss them with you<br></div><div>in more detail.<br></div><div><br></div><div>See you then!<br></div><div><br></div></div>
