Intro and opening thoughts
The plan called for a planning meeting (and LTSP installfest) at
Eclectic LAN
(map) in Raleigh on Wednesday, February
5th, at 7pm.The first part of the meeting will be a discussion of the syllabus
and when/where/how often meetings will be held. Once that's arranged, we will
be installing LTSP.
We ended having a planning meeting, plus we discovered that Eclectic LAN
PCs have Gibabyte Ethernet cards, not (yet) supported by LTSP. Oh, well.
Also, this page is dynamic. That is, it will change to acomodate our
needs. So don't expect this to be 100% accurate... until the whole thing is
over.
In the end, we only had two metings at Eclectic LAN. See next section for
current meeting place.

Mar, 12, 2003. On IRC, By Jeremy Portzer (just the day before
TriLUG's meeting)
How we got to HAHT
The originaly proposed meeting (Number 3) gets postponed, as Eclectic LAN
is no more, due to very infortunate maters). A very big thank you goes
to Rock Roskam for offering Eclectic LAN in the first place. Then,
Jaimie Liivngstone asked and got premission to use HAHT for the meeting.
Kudos for Jaimie!

Meeting 2.99: Change of venue (Mar, 05, 2003)
At IRC. By everybody
The originaly proposed meeting (Number 3) gets postponed, as Eclectic LAN is
no more, due to very infortunate maters). A very big thank you goes to
Rock Roskam for offering Eclectic LAN in the first place.
As a result of the discussion in the mailing list, we decide for a meeting on
the IRC. The log is here.
- We let Jeremy Portzer take his terms, so no rushing him to provide the talk.
- A sizeable part of us cannot make the meetings on Saturdays, for several
reasons.
- We decide on Jaimie's offer for a meeting place at HAHT (see this area). Weekday and time will be the same.
- I've voluntiered again (this is becoming an annoying tradition *grin*) to
propose a new calendar and link the chat
logs.
- You will review the proposed calendar, and you will
discuss it on the mailing list
New Meeting Place
As the upcoming talk covers a lot of areas, we all will discuss a little
on the upcoming Jeremy's talk. This way, the talk can go better and focus on
our "grey areas". Please, review your installed Red Hat PCs, books,
syllabus... and prepare questions and be prepared to provide answers.
Remember! This is an IRC Meeting to make possible a more fluid and
interesting next talk.
As a side thing, we should discuss who will give talks currently assigned
to Anonymous Coward, as he has told me that he is pretty busy trolling on
Slashdot. So we cannot count on him to provide all those talks.
Bummer!
