Hi folks,

Sorry to be getting this out so late, but things have been kind of
crazy lately.

Thanks VERY MUCH for volunteering to help out at the TriLUG booth at
the Cary Swapfest this year. For those of you who've helped at the
RARS and DurHamFest booths, this will be very similar. We're basically
going to be at a table distributing (for a small donation) linux
CDs and evangelizing linux.

Because of problems with the parking lot (mainly that it's torn up right
now) we're going to try to do setup on Friday night betweem 6:30 and
9:30pm. Officers from the Cary Police Department will be watching the
door overnight, so things should be reasonably safe. This also makes
it so we don't have to setup at 6:30am! :-) I know some people are
planning on bringing computers with CD burners so we can burn more CDs
on demand. If people can't leave their machines there overnight, then
they'll need to get there at 8am and set them up.

Directions to the swapfest can be found here:

Currently, this is how I've broken out the schedule. If you didn't
specify a time, I randomly put you in places that needed people,
otherwise (assuming I remembered correctly) I've tried to put you where
you requested.

All day shift
Jason Tower

Morning shift (starts at 8am)
William Gomeringer
Sean Murphy
Chris Knowles

Afternoon shift (starts at 11:30)
Jim Thompson
Jeremy Portzer
Kevin Otte

I believe the fest ends around 2pm, but I'm assuming breakdown will
take about an hour so that makes the shifts 3.5 hours each. (Jason,
if you want to setup early that morning, we can have one person come
in between 6:30 and 8am. Let me know.)

Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything, but if you have any questions,
please ask them on the Trilug linux ham list at linux-ham@trilug.org.

Cheers,
Tanner Lovelace
