Ok,
So, did I kill the list with my statements that Ham Radio is the
Internet and should not be approached as such? I haven't seen
any traffic except two small messages right after that since
I sent that e-mail. Or, have people lost interest?
Note that if you're in the Triangle area and don't have a license
yet, the Raleigh Amateur Radio Society is holding an intro
license class this and next Saturday. The intro classes were
this past Monday and Tuesday but I think they were just so people
could see if they wanted to take the class. If you know you'd like
the license, you can probably still get into the class. See
http://www.rars.org/class/ for more information.
Cheers,
Tanner

This would be a very good time to hang out with the Open Source
people, before they get formally reclassified as a national security
threat. -- Bruce Sterling
