Calling all hams....  the threat to 440 is now real.  Please see below, 
the e-mail from Allen Pitts at ARRL HQ.  Contacting your local 
representative will take only minutes.
You can submit your letter to congress through mail, fax, or e-mail. 
Whatever is easiest for you.

For those of you that aren't hams, the loss of these frequencies 
directly impacts what is available to those of us that volunteer our 
services.  Please lend your support as well.

Please complete this today.  We need to tackle this quickly and efficiently.

congressional representative in opposition to the bill as it is written.

Because of their security measures, it will NOT do any good to mail them 
direct.
You can send an email, but PLEASE fill in the sections of the attached 
letter for your own representative and then send it to Chwat & Co who 
will HAND DELIVER it – making sure your letter gets noticed!
