Hi fellow rhce students.

I intend to have an html presentation ready for the class. Hope you can
help me getting things right. Do not hesitate to interrupt me. Also, if
you know or are vary confortable with any of the areas of Tuesday's
class, please let me know. I don't know everything, although I want to
know everything *grin*

Anyway,

I have found and interesting website that could help us:
http://www.rhce2b.com/clublinux/RHCE.shtml

How many of you have RedHat 7.3? How many of you have a boxed RedHat? It
will be interesting to have one running at home, with everything
installed.

Also, I expect you guys to have RedHat 7.3 CDs (iso downloads, box...) .
The boxed version contains the Documentation CD, a big bonus.

The Doc CD contains (in HTML & PDF) (copy-pasted form the CD):

    * The Official Red Hat Linux x86 Installation Guide: The latest
installation guide for Red Hat Linux

    * The Official Red Hat Linux Getting Started Guide: Useful
information to help a newbie feel at home

    * The Official Red Hat Linux Customization Guide: Focuses on
advanced installation procedures, kernel configuration, and the new
configuration tools

    * The Official Red Hat Linux Reference Guide: In-depth information
about Linux in general and your Red Hat Linux system in particular

    * You can also find the Official Red Hat Linux manuals, in PDF
format

    * The Red Hat Network User Reference Guide: Learn more about getting
the latest software updates for your Red Hat Linux system.

    * You can also find a copy of the community-maintained book Maximum
RPM. This book, originally published by Red Hat in 1997, is an in-depth
view of the RPM Package Manager.

    * You can find a sample kickstart installation file here

Hope this helps.

Salut,
Sinner / Josep
