Actually the IRC network is irc.freenode.net (the channel is #trilug, or
you can just use irc.trilug.org).  Also, we could create a #trilug-rhce
or something if it overloads the "main" conversation.

Running your own IRC server is not usually worth the trouble since it's
so easy to make your own channels on the Freenode network.  Unless IRC
servers are covered by the RHCE test (doubt it!) then I'd say don't
worry about it.
