+1.  I'm much more likely to show up at HAHT than at Jason's place
because (IIRC where Jason lives) HAHT is closer to work and home for me.

I'm OK with skipping this week's meeting (or having an IRC session with
no specific topic) or having the meeting as schedulled.  The latter
depends on Jeremy's level of preparedness and willingness to go ahead
with the class.  If he wants to postpone, I support that.
