[RHCE] Querry on /etc/usertty and /etc/securetty

Hi Friends,
 
      I recently came across and article stating something regarding /etc/securetty and /etc/nologin.the article also had referce to /etc/usertty I didnt get much help or doc on /etc/usertty. It would be gr8 if some one could help me out. Also I wanted to about PAM if some one could suggest any resource for the same.
