I have been working on some virus infected windows systems. Knoppix
rules on this. You can put in the Knoppix disk mount the windows drive
make readable and then click on their samba utility. It sets the user
knoppix and whatever password you choose. Ask you again if you are sure
and then viola a samba share. Now from windows box mount the drive and
scan with virus scanner of the month. Not in the vein of RHCE but real
world. The parted or NTFS resizer works as well. Just be sure to scan and
defrag before resizing.
