[RHCE] Newbie Questions

Hi ,
 
      I am very new to Red hat linux,  I want to write RHCE. 
So before joining to RHCE training classes, i want to study
myself some basic of red hat linux for RHCE. 
 
So what i need from you is, some pointers to useful books 
and links to start working with linux for RHCE.
 
Also, i want to know the details of RHCE exam ( New pattern ) . 
And whether is it going to conducted on RedHat Enterprise Linux or Fedora or
red hat 9 ? 
 
Any other guidance or pointers will be greatly appreciated.
