[Trilug-announce] SSL Security with CACert.org: May Meeting

The May meeting of the Triangle Linux Users Group will be held at 7:00
PM on Thursday May 11, 2006 at Red Hat.  Directions are available from
our website at http://www.trilug.org/.

Tanner Lovelace will be presenting a talk on CACert Certificates to
secure servers, i.e. web and mail.  Please bring two forms of government
issued identification (containing your name and birthdate), including at
least one with a photo, and the completed form that can be printed here:
https://www.cacert.org/cap.php?format=letter  Blank forms will be 
available at the meeting in case you forget.

There will be enough assurers available at the meeting to provide you
with enough assurance points to become an assurer yourself.  Also bring
GPG key slips if you would like to increase your web of trust.

May will also be our annual elections.  See the TriLUG list archives for
bios of the candidates.  You must be present at the meeting to vote, and
must be a registered member (membership validation will be required).
