Hiya List,

Next month's meeting (08 Apr 2010) will bring us Greg DeKoenigsberg's
knowledge and insight into the OLPC project.

For those who don't know, the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) project was an
idea largely pioneered by Nicholas Negroponte, an entrepreneur from
Boston. The project's aim was to give a durable, affordable, usable,
and educational laptop to every kid in the world. All eventually for
the price of $100. Where the project stands today ... well, come hear
Greg drop a knowledge bomb.

Greg DeKoenigsberg serves on the advisory boards of several open source
advocacy organizations, writes about open source issues, and speaks at
open source events worldwide. He was a community advisor to the One
Laptop Per Child project and a founding board member of the Sugar Labs
project. He is currently a Senior Community Architect for Red Hat.

As usual:
 - 2nd Thursday of the month (08 Apr 2010)
 - 7p -0400
 - RedHat HQ

Hope to see you there!

Kevin
