I neglected to mention it also offers the choice of XFS. Oops. =)

I've tracked ReiserFS development for a while now, and I like the
[virtually] immediate response I get from Chris Mason, one of the main
architects working on it at SuSE, if I have problems.

I'm using weird combinations of ext2, ext3, and ReiserFS on my machines,
and the latter two are quite solid. ReiserFS seems a tad more responsive
at times (i.e. `tar xjf linux-2.4.7.tar.bz2' only takes a few seconds on a
ReiserFS partition versus ~30 on an ext3). I like ext3's ability to be
mounted as a "normal" ext2 partition if umounted cleanly, though. :)
