Another way to get noticed by a Congressman is to HAND WRITE your letter.
They have this rule that if a citizen bothers to hand write the letter it
must be original and not part of some crazy chain letter plan. There are
actually staff members who read hand written letters. In the end, though, it
ends up being a vote by constituents for or against any particular bill.
Let's just say I have friends in politics (because my dad was a politician)
and leave it at that.
