Odd Chris, you were one of the people I had in mind.  Not too long ago I 
remember we had a conversation about the instability of java on linux 
especially with guis.

Other than the font issue and that drag/drop bug a few releases back (in 
some jdk 1.2.2) I've had NO java gui problems.
