Well, getgrnam() stands for "get group name" and is the C library function
to get group information; it's analagous to the more commonly seen
getpwnam().  man 3 getgrnam.   

Is this an upgrade or clean drive?  If an upgrade, did /etc/group somehow
get corrupted?
