Um, do you know this for sure? The last time I
tried to install Oracle over remote X it barfed.
Their installer is java based and doesn't seem to
play well with remote X stuff. It worked fine
with vnc, though.
Note, however, that you have to install some amount
of X to get xterms...
I know that X forwarding works well over ssh, but
I do not think that the Oracle installer works with
remote X.
