Just in time! I am in need of a good HOWTO on wine and I would be happy to
provide comment and feedback on yours (please send). I think a triLUG "real
world HOWTO" is a great idea.

Subject: [TriLUG] a wine "mini-doc"
since i sometimes find the official red hat documentation and the
HOWTOs overly verbose and frequently unclear or out-of-date, i've
started to write my own collection of "mini doc"s. the goal is
to be concise and explain not only how to do a minimal configuration
of some utility, but also explain *why* you're doing the things
you're doing.
using info from kevin sonney and sinner, i wrote one of these
for wine. it's about 200 lines long, and details what i had to
do from scratch to get wine working. if anyone wants a copy,
let me know -- i'll email it (it's just text), and i would
appreciate feedback since i plan on writing many more, some to
be incorporated in my training manuals.
so let me know if you want a copy.
