Aw, come on!  In "real-world" language, wine is definitely an "emulator"
-- as is Win4Lin, VMWare, etc.  It's an emulator because it "emulates" one
operting system under another.  Just because you use some strange, narrow
technical definition doesn't change the real-world, English definition of
the word.  Emulators is a perfect category for this type of thing, and
anything else would be very confusing to a newbie who speaks real-world
English.
