I use an old Matrox g-400 with (IMO) good results.  Happy to hear that
you got q3a running.  Go fetch the 1.30 update, so you can get onto
many of the internet servers ;-)  q3a.rcfile.org runs instagib 24/7 
(one FFA, one 1v1), if I'm home and I see the cable modem light on,
I'll usually join the match.
