one caution about stuff you can download from psionic.com.  this is
the same outfit that wrote portsentry, but they have not released
their stuff under the GPL.  the disclaimer on their site clearly
says that there are patents pending on some of their software, and
they also put restrictions about redistributing any modified source
code without their permission.  they also prohibit you from selling
their software separately or as part of a larger security bundle.

this may not be an issue for you, but i thought you should be aware
of it.
