Hi Craig,
I'd recommend putting it in /etc/modules.conf, which has its own man 
page for particulars.  That way you can make sure it's loaded in the 
right sequence, if there are any modules that have to be loaded first.
If you'd rather use a startup script you could try putting it at the end 
of /etc/rc.d/rc.local, where most system-specific configuration stuff 
generally gets added.
