[TriLUG] OT: AIX 5.1L

Hello all,

Totally pointless post.

I just took an AIX 5.1L class.

It was kind of slow, but on the last day we got to try stuff.

I installed AIX (something not common in my job for some reason) and had a simple choice:
1. ascii desktop
2. cde desktop
3. gnome desktop
4. kde desktop

Thats right folks, your aix box can now have the look and feel we know and love, and with the blessing of mamma blue!

I did gnome and the other guy did kde.  It was kind of fun.

I mean, think of playing Same-Gnome on a 64-way S80?

Of course, I prefer ascii mode, but this isn't about me, is it.....
