Hi,
I am in the process of installing Qmail on my Red Hat 7
system, and I'm having trouble finding specifically where to
alter my startup scripts to neuter the command to start up
sendmail (which Qmail is replacing).
The Qmail instructions say:
"
Here's how to remove sendmail from your system.
1. Find sendmail in your boot scripts. It's usually in
either /etc/rc or
/etc/init.d/sendmail. It looks like
sendmail -bd -q15m
-q15m means that it should run the queue every 15
minutes; you may
see a different number. Comment out this line.
"
I have not found a line like that in the several scripts
I've examined.
Any hints?
Thank you,
Rich Hammer
