[TriLUG] Digital camera recommendations

First, I must state that I am *cheap*, but I have been extremely happy with
my FujiFilm FinePix 1400zoom.  It connects via usb, and shows up as a mass
storage device under windows & Linux (my BSD box doesn't have USB,  so I haven't
tried it there.  Its pretty fun to hook up your camera and mount /dev/sda1 
and copy your pictures off.


Its a great camera, and if you shop around,  you should be able to find it
for about $200.  If you don't mind a refurb unit check out half.com, last
time I looked they were going for around $150, with a 1 year warranty (same
as new.)
