[TriLUG] xcdroast 0.96e

I'm using x-cdroast 0.96e, on a Dell server. When I try to master
a directory I'm getting the following error

unable to local parent directory

which doesn't make any sense to me, being that I can goto the
subdirectory containing the file it was processing, and cd to the
parent. The file being processed is not a link, but an regular file
that has read/execute permissions.

Maybe this is an issue with mkisofs?

Here are the versions of software I'm using, maybe it's time to update?

Cdrecord 1.8 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2000 Jörg Schilling
Using libscg version 'schily-0.1'
mkisofs 1.12 (i686-pc-linux-gnu)

I've dropped a note to the author of xcdroast, but he is now working
on 0.98 which seems to be significantly different and would prefer
not to have to reinstall stuff...
