And here is a small incomplete example...

virtual:
  driver = aliasfile
  domains = dbm;/etc/exim/domains
  no more
  file = /etc/exim/$domain
  search_type = lsearch

Note: I run Sendmail, but I have a few clients that run Exim.  Exim is no
fun to troubleshoot...
