[TriLUG] Quake2 GPL'd

Anyone notice that Quake2 has been released under the GPL?
You can download it at 
ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/source/quake2.zip but if
that's hammered, it's mirrored at
http://wtl.wayfarer.org/quake2/quake2.zip

Apparently, you still need an official quake2 cd if you want
to build and play the game because all the artwork, models,
etc... are still proprietary.
