Just my opinion of course (we all know how much that can be worth! :-)
but I kind of enjoyed the byplay. Spending almost all of my time in my
office alone (unless I'm traveling) I enjoy the "meat-world"
interaction. Some of us actually stood around and shot the breeze in the
parking lot until about 11pm and I really enjoyed it (thanx guys).
Perhaps I should get out more, but as someone who has been forcibly
kicked into the business side from the geek side (somebody had to do it)
I really enjoyed hanging out and chatting with my own kind for a few
brief hours.
For that experience I'll put up with one more lame discussion about vi
vs emacs! :-)
