[TriLUG] oblems with xine

Hello, elliot peele , i found  the following information at 
http://www.trilug.org/pipermail/trilug/Week-of-Mon-20011126/002644.html when 
i searched "xine". 
Could you tell me where you downloaded them? i cannot find 0.9.4 rpm or 0.9.6 
something. and i do not want to install it using source.

i have gotten xine to work and play divx and dvd. the only problem i am
having is that the sound and video don't stay in sink. the audio gets
ahead of the video. has anyone else seen this and do you know how to fix
it. i have installed the packages listed:

any help would be appriciated. i have tried the #xine chanel on
irc.openprojects.net but i get no answers.
