[TriLUG] getting wine to work

i am trying to get wine to work on my laptop and install software. does
anyone one have a wine config file that they could send to me (off list)
so that i could try to get this to work. right now i am trying to install
half-life and wine just crashes once windows start to pop up. if it
matters i have a dell latitude 810C with PIII 1.13 GHz 512MB ram and a
32mb nvidia gforce 2go.
