I seem to recall 24 MB being the practical minimum for a 7.2 install.

Of course, once installed, the system should be able to work with less
than that.  It's just that the redhat installer is very memory
intensive. (So you could, for example, drop in some extra memory
temporarily for the duration of the install and remove it afterward.)
