Don't tell anyone that you're using Linux.  Every problem that arises 
(including power glitches) will be the fault of the person using Linux. 
("That open-source code is not secure.  All the hackers use Linux, you know.")

Have a screen saver that's a screen shot of a Windows desktop.

Don't snicker out load when your neighbor's computer locks up and steals the 
entire morning's work.
