FWIW, instead of a motherboard, why not an entire PC?

If a motherboard costs about $100, for the same price you get:

Compaq Deskpro
Intel Pentium II 350MHz
6.4GB HDD
96MB RAM

There is room in there to add the larger hard disk for the mail spool,
and there is room for more RAM.
