[TriLUG] new AMD system - solved sorta

Thanks everyone for the assistance with this one. It appears my hard-drive
is bad. Once I finally gained access to the bios I found the hard-drive was
secondary, not primary, on it's IDE chain so I changed the jumper and it
showed up as primary -but the problem stays.. I can load the OS but the
computer refuses to boot from the disk (error: Missing Operating System). I
swapped the disk and the computer tries to boot off the other disk (but fails
eventually - but that's because OS/2 warp is loaded on that one and I don't
think Warp agrees with AMD).
So.. until I get a new drive I have a mighty-fine diskless AMD system.
