Are you running any firewall rules yet?  Have you turned routing on?
   (echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward)

Have you loaded the modules for each network card?  and configured the 
interfaces so that they load.  Can you ping each interface (externally and 
internally)?
