Go ahead and get an RW. Last time I bought a drive, the CD-ROM and CD/RW
were priced the same. 

Although, for me, the LG IDE DVD/CD-RW at Best Buy is tempting, since at
last check it was under $150. Although it may not work with the Sparc,
since it's IDE....
