[TriLUG] sparc ISO download puzzler

I was able to completely download RH7.1 i386 iso image this AM, using RH6.1 
and an older ncftp, from kickstart.linux.ncsu.edu.

I _always_ fail in the final 3/4 of downloading RH6.2 sparc iso 
(zoot-sparc.iso) from:
http://lions.maplenet.net/redhat-sparc/
kickstart.linux.ncsu.edu
ibiblio

I have tried using RH6.1 (rsync, ftp, ncftp), Mandrake 8.1 (Konqueror, rsync, 
ftp, ncftp), and Windows 98 (IE5, ftp)

Is there something inherently flawed in getting a distro for sparc on an 
intel machine?  WTH is going on?????
