[TriLUG] More Oracle on RHL questions

I am using Dell 2500s and so are several other people in our group. We
have had no problems with this model on any of our configurations.

We have had numerous problems with our 15 Dell 2400s using RH 7.2 and
Windows 2000 Server and I would stay away from them (I don't think that
they are being sold anymore but still). We have several unresolved
calls with Dell dating back several months. We were told that if we
want them resolved we should purchase Gold Support. I found that to be
pretty disturbing since the servers are only one year old and are still
under warranty.

We are looking at IBM X Series 232 servers for our next rollout. If
anyone has comments on this hardware -- good or bad -- or IBM support
I'd be very interested.
