It is actualy called 'urpmi' , and works as close to apt as it can be done
with rpms. Yes, it solves dependencies. Yes, you can use remote RPM
repositories. Yes, it works at the command line *and* with a nice GUI if you
want. Yes, I like it :)
I also support everything else that Tanner says, about Debian and Mandrake
being closer that you might think.
