Yeah, there's deselect, alright. But it can be a bit confusing when
first encountered.

Debian also has a number of GUI frontends for software
install/removal/upgrade: Gnome-apt, Deity-gtk, and Stormpkg are a
few. Kpackage can also be used for this purpose, but requires a little
setup.
