Hrm, suppose I should do this too. =)

As I am running on the platform of "Suprise!" it's going to be pretty
off-the-cuff, and very much structured like Tanner's because I'm
cheating and copying his. ;)

I started playing with Linux back in the 0.9-days in university, but
didn't get very deep into it. At the time, I was really digging my OS/2
installation so I just wanted to experiment. =)

My first "real" use of linux was in 1995 when I got a job as a "web
designer" ($8 an hour! whoo!), working with slackware and some RedHat
3.something boxen. I've pretty much spent most of my free time since
then tinkering with various internet technologies and unixes. (OSX is
my newest pet project).

As far as goals, I have some fun technical ideas for TriLUG that I would
like to implement, but I'm not sure they would require me to be on the
Steering Committee, but this is the second year I've been nominated to
be on the SC so there must be something you guys know that I don't.
(heh) I do have a lot of Linux experience and I'm happy to help out,
so if that's enough, well then vote for me!

I'm agreeing with Tanner on this. I can imagine how much of a PITA it
is to keep things going month-to-month, and regardless of the outcome of
the elections, I'd like to give a hearty "thanks" to everyone involved.
