[TriLUG] DHCP not working

I am not positive what the reason for your problem is, but i have had
some odd issues with roadrunner in the past in dealing with dhcp.
Sometimes, you have to unplug the cable modem for it to recgonize a new
card, that may even hold true with routers. Other times, rr servers have
gone wack because my dhcp client (pump on rhl 7.0 at the time) did not
send a windows client identifier, it would give me a lease the first
time, but if I ever rebooted, I had to wait until my old lease expired
before it would let me renew again, which was normally a week.
