Not an answer but an opinion.

Since wireless networks do NOT have any sort of physical controls, I
would always treat them as a hostile network.  Give anyone an IP address
on your wireless network (heck use a 10.0.0.0/8 network), but to get any
further have an IPSec gateway running on a robust firewalled box between
your wireless network and your private network.

Once you've caved in on the firewall & IPSec, the 128 bit WEP becomes
rather a moot point as well.
