Fair warning... as much as you hear me evangelizing and praising OpenBSD
it is *not* an OS for the casual user, or for the *NIX newbie.  It is
rather spartan yet excellent at what it does.  The OpenBSD user
community tends to be, well, a bunch of jerks when you come in asking
for help.  So for now I'd recommend not getting to excited about the bsd
list unless you're pretty hardcore (not that OpenBSD is the only BSD,
but it seems to be the only one anyone is talking about on that list)

The education list holds a lot of promise but thus far has been a dud. 
If we can get some of the local schools to partner with us and take an
active roll in their own Linux infrastructure, I think that just about
any TriLUG member has something to contribute to that effort no matter
what your background.

The dev list is pretty slow but its geared towards hardcore programmers
so it's not really a general consumption list.
