I have X-Win32, but I don't know how to get XDMCP sessions with KDE. I don't
use GNOME.

As far as I understand it, VNC on *NIX creates its own virtual X server, so
you can't connect to the real X server.  There may well be other products
that support connecting to an existing X-session, but I don't know of them.
Now, I think you could probably get KDE running on the virtual server, but
then you'd have two instances of it running on the same machine...  I
personally would just ssh in, and then pop open xterms or whatever on the
remote machine.  If you're trying to connect from windows get a windowing
system like eXodus or XWin32.  (I know that with Xwin32 you can run
gnome-session to start a complete gnome desktop within a virtual one, so I'd
imagine that you could do the same with KDE).
