[TriLUG] "Taskbar" is missing

I'm running Gnome (1.4?) on a recently upgraded RedHat 7.3 box and the 
bar at the bottom of the screen (where windows reside when minimized, or 
even when open go) is no longer there.  I thought that I added it back, 
but now I just have a very slim bar there, that does not hold anything.

I've attached a screenshot (JPEG) of my bar.
