Well, I've got a card that says almost this exact thing, goes 'bloop'
(The failed to load drivers beep) and then, get this, it works!
The lack of even a bloop worries me though. Looks like your slot is ok,
your card is ok, but you don't have the drivers.
The pcmcia website (someone else posted it) is probably where you want
to go.
