apparently, the thing to do is to have a normally scheduled presenter, then have 
that person be delayed or have to cancel, then RUSH someone at the last minute 
to fill in...

somehow this has returned fantastic results over the past few months. thanks to 
Wade for his excellent Perl/Tk intro. Nice app (Mr. Voice), btw!
